This was a staple in our vacation, it delivered bold Southern flavor with a side if live blues and gritty charm. Located on Beale Street, it's best know for for its slow-cooked ribs, hearty portions, and unapologetically indulgent comfort food. The ribs were incredible and the tenderness of the meat as it fell right off the bone and basically melted in your mouth. I loved that smoky, subtly sweet glaze was addicting. the catfish was cooked to perfection, and the pulled pork was juicy, savory, and the right amount of flavor throughout the entire bite. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food feels satisfying in a classic, no-frills way.

The atmosphere is perfect and really shines - loud, lively, and soaked in the Memphis soul. We ate during the early bird specials, but there was an area for live bands and I am sure they have some amazing talent perfect for a night on the town. It's raw, fun, and full of character - perfect for visitors who want a real Beale Street experience. If you are looking for big flavor, music, and authentic Memphis energy, this place hits the mark.
