Handel's

Go - to  dessert spot.  The Ice cream was rich, ultra creamy texture, and generously sized scoops. They have delicious classic flavors and inventive new favorites. From Graham Central Station and Buckeye to seasonal specialties, there's always something indulgent and memorable to try. The ice cream is clearly crafted with quality ingredients and old school care. They deliver a consistently satisfying treat that feels worth the splurge.

Red Iguana

Salt Lake City

10/10

THE FOOD IS LEGENDARY! It is famous for its bold, deeply flavored Mexican cuisine - especially its extensive mole selection. The menu has an extensive collection of traditional dishes like enchiladas, chile verde, tacos, and rich, slow - simmered specialties that showcase complex spices and authentic techniques. The moles are serious so authentic and made to perfection, offering a range of flavors from smoky and savory to subtly sweet and chocolately, making it a must visit for anyone craving depth and authenticity in Mexican dishes.

The atmoshpere matches the authenticity of the food, bold colors and decor adorn its walls. IT is lively, colorful, and often buzzing with a steady stream of locals and visitors. The portions are very generous, the plates are straight from abuela's kitchen, and the flavors are strongly consistent. This restaurant delivers pure Mexican heritage, bold tase, and food that leaves a lasting impression. It is a standing dining experience for anyone exploring Salt Lake City's culinary scene.

Roosters Brewing Co.

Layton

8/10

Known for the hearty American comfort food and house - brewed craft beers. The menu features classics like burgers, wings, steaks, and pub - style entrees. The sauces that you can dip your hamburger in are to die for. They are incredible! My favorite burger is the gorgonzola burger. That sauce is the creme de la creme and you can't go wrong getting some extra sauce on the side.

It a relaxed, casual dining experience that is perfect after a day of action packed travel to sit back and enjoy some delicious food and a calm environment. The restaurant has a strong community vibe and features screens playing your favorite sports events. It's dependable, warm, and consistently enjoyable. They also have local brews available for purchase.

Tsunami

Salt Lake City

10/10

I love me some sushi and am extremely picky on flavor, presentation, and variety. Tsunami checked every single box and then some. They were top notch in hospitality, quality, and an extensive menu. It was a very popular spot for locals, which validates the must visit spot for those wanting a little more classy spot to dine. They don't just have sushi either and the dishes are just as incredible executed as the sushi is.

The pictures don't do it justice, textures and flavors are Michelin star worthy. The ingredient are fresh, for being inland, they have some of the freshest tasting ingredients I have tasted in Utah. The sushi line up ranges from classic favorites to inventive, sauce - forward specialty rolls. White hot dishes like noodle bowls, curries, and small plates offer solid variety for non-sushi diners. Flavors lean bold, slightly indulgent, and visually striking.
